I am looking for a personal finance software that is user friendly, safe and that can download information from the banks websites. I don’t have time to sit and enter every transactions so I want something that will work with the websites. Any ideas??
I use Microsoft Money and it works well for me. Once I have set up the online accounts it automatically updates them (there is an option to have it update every day or once a week). The downside is that the software only lets you do this for two years, which means you would have to go into each bank or credit card website and download each account one by one, or upgrade to the newer version.

Any suggestions?

how would personal finance on a personal level affect the US economy?
If you’ve watched the news in the last few days or weeks, you will have seen that there are a record number of foreclosures on houses right now.
Many people got in over their heads with ARM’s or other types of creative financing on houses that they now can’t sell because the housing market has gone down. Subprime lenders make loans to people with poor credit, and rising defaults in those loans have been a factor in the stock market’s volatility this past week.
So, I’d say personal finance can have an effect on the overall economy.

I wonder how other people feel about having a personal finance consultant to manage their wealth. How many have the service? How long they stay with the same consultant? Are people satisified with their consultant? Thank you.
do not much believe and trust upon consultants or people of that type regarding finance , but if your business or wealth is big, have a finance secretary and manage yourself,
if you are to utilize your wealth for further business , it is not the consultant , it is you who shall find where the wealth shall be utilized, the money you spent on consultant shall be enogh for you to get some experience in developing business,
wishing you good luck
